Q1:Any good program to covert MXF video toApple ProRes for editing in Final Cut Pro X?
Iam a person who deals much with video everyday. I have just bought a new CanonXF305 camcorder which produces very good quality video in the MXF format. However, this kind of video seems not favored by FCP X.

Q2: I am planning onshooting a short film in AVC-I 100 and had a question:
I know that I can transcode my AVC-I footage into FCP tomake it ProRes 422. But I also found a plug-in to edit MXF files natively onFCP. Would I gain any visual quality if I used MXF over ProRes 422?

So,I have to look for a workaround for finding a tool for converting MXF to AppleProRes. Luckily, a friend of mine recommended me a MXFto ProRes Converter Mac which he tried very great.
