Japan gets the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10

Japan's largest mobile carrier, NTT DoCoMo, has just announced that they will be launching the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 soon. The phone will be called “docomo Smartphone Xperia” (model number SO-01B) and is said to be available this April.

Features of the phone includes: Android 1.6, a 4 inch WVGA (854 x 480) touchscreen display, HSDPA,
Wi-Fi, GPS, Google Maps, 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, Timescape and Mediascape,
3.5mm headset jack, 8MP autofocus camera, 1GB of internal memory and
MicroSD card support. The only difference between the Xperia
X10 previously announced and the DoCoMo's X10 is that the DoCoMo's will
come equipped with more RAM (384MB) and POBox Touch 1.0 – a predictive
text-input system for Japanese and English.

Two color versions will be available: Black and White. No pricing has been mentioned.
